Hello! My name is Wendi Densley. I love being one of the counselors at Middleton Middle School. My caseloads is students whose last names begin with H - N. The 22/23 school year will be my 4th year in the role of school counselor.
The education gene runs deep in my family. Both my grandmother and mother taught most of their lives. My teaching career began as a Kindergarten teacher in Killeen, Texas, while my husband was stationed at Fort Hood. When he deployed, I moved back to Idaho, my home state! I spent the following 10 years as a youth pastor working with adolescents. This gave me the foundation to deepen my understanding of mental health and dive back into the school system. I graduated from Northwest Nazarene University with my Masters in school counseling in December of 2019.
I have two children who attend school in the district. Go Vikes!
One of my favorite quotes is:
“Promise me you’ll always remember: You’re braver than you believe, and stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.”
— Christopher Robin to Pooh, A.A. Milne”
My goal as a school counselor is to help all students know they are brave, strong, and smart.
