Hello!!  My name is Cherie Krause and I am excited to have your child in my class this year!  I graduated with a degree in Elementary Education from University of Phoenix in the spring of 2022 summa cum laude, and this will be my first year teaching.  I am thrilled to be teaching 4th grade where we will dive in to Idaho's great history and become experts on the creation of our wonderful state!  

Teaching others is a passion I have because I love to help others learn, grow, and be successful.  I feel that sharing our knowledge with one another is important and want to instill collaboration as a learning strategy into the classroom.  I feel that this makes learning fun and relevant when we learn from our peers as well as teachers.  

I have been married for 15 years and have two wonderful children, one boy and one girl.  I enjoy camping, fishing, crocheting, and old school video games.  Mario is a common topic in our household!

I believe that every child learns differently and it is up to me to find out how they learn best!  I look forward to learning and growing with my awesome students this year and meeting all of you.
