I was born and raised in Southern California. I moved to Oregon to attend Multnomah University, where I earned my Bachelor’s Degree.  I earned my Master’s in Teaching from Willamette University. I taught my first five years in Louisiana, while my husband was in the Air Force. I then returned to Oregon and taught eight years of English and Social Studies at an alternative high school in Woodburn. We moved to Idaho in 2016, and have fallen in love with it!  I have four crazy daughters with my husband, Jon, and we love to spend time together camping, hiking, watching TV, and playing sports.

I am excited about the mastery program at Middleton Academy. I believe it gives students the responsibility for their own education, and allows students to truly learn the information and standards.
