My name is Peggy Ramsey and I teach P.E./Health at Middleton Middle School. I'm married to Bill Ramsey, who is also a teacher at the High School. We have two beautiful children. Abby 17 and Beau 10.
I’ve been a teacher and coach for the past 25 years. My career started in Wisconsin at a small Elementary school teaching P.E. I then taught P.E. and coached for 8 years at the Elementary and High School levels in El Paso, Texas. For the last 16 years, I’ve been teaching and coaching here in Middleton.
I received my Bachelor of Science in K-12 Physical Education/Health from the University of Wisconsin Platteville in 1992. I received my Masters in Counseling from Northwest Nazarene University in 2007.
I am currently a member of MEA, IEA and NEA. I am also a part of our MCHAT committee, which focuses on working with community and school entities to bring fitness and health related issues to the forefront in the community. I am also a member of Shape America, the nation's largest organization of Health and Physical Educators.
One of my favorite quotes is, “The true measure of a champion isn’t shown when they win, it’s shown in how they respond when they lose.”
