Mill Creek Elementary School was opened in 1998. The school originally served the entire District's K-3 student population. With the opening of the District's third elementary school (Purple Sage) in 2003, Mill Creek was redesignated as a P-5 school. As the school population grew, the preschool classes were moved to Purple Sage. Mill Creek now serves approximately 650 students in grades K-5.
As a staff at Mill Creek Elementary, we are dedicated to teaching the basic skills to all students using the district curriculum, research-based instruction, and current technology resulting in meeting or exceeding state standards. Every child has the capacity to achieve and will be challenged to reach his/her potential. Parents are a vital part of every child’s education and are encouraged to participate in the learning process. We value diversity in thought and will treat all adults and students with respect. Discipline in all areas of the Mill Creek Campus will be maintained at the highest levels to promote a safe and positive learning environment with good moral values and strong citizenship skills.
Mill Creek is dedicated to prepare students for lifelong learning, giving all students the skills to become good communicators, promoting a sense of social responsibility and academic success.
